How far does the RFID reader work?
Long-range UHF readers detect cards from 6–10 meters, so the driver does not need to stop or lower the window. Standard IC card readers work at a short distance from the pedestal.

No. With a long-range reader the barrier opens automatically as the vehicle approaches — ideal for warehouses, gated communities and industrial zones with high traffic.
Does the RFID barrier work in winter?
Yes. The housing has protection class {ip} and the drive operates in the range {temp}; RFID reading is not affected by snow, frost or rain.
Can several readers and barriers be combined into one system?
Yes. Barriers and readers are combined via RS485 and TCP/IP into a single access control network with a shared database and remote management.
